Our edible garden: Warracknabeal residents grow their veggies
Lisa, Jennifer, Melissa, Donna and Suzie are doing their bit for sustainability: as well as taking great care to make sure they recycle whatever they can, they also have five chooks. They feed the chooks food scraps and in return enjoy lovely fresh eggs.
Recently thay have built a bigger garden bed with a productive vegetable patch. The ladies grow their own seedlings and tend the garden.
